Winter is upon us, so dress up warm and get down to the field for some flying!

So what's the latest news at TMAC? Well the web site for starters. Since we've got the great club rooms and the fantastic flying site, it was high time the web site had an overhaul. We'll be keeping this site up to date with information and events so come back often and see what we're up to. Also make sure if you're a member, get those aircraft out and come down to the field for some flying. For non-members, join up and re-read this paragraph.

Never flown before? If you've seen model planes cruising the skies and wondered if you could ever do that, then we can get you sorted out. On friday evenings you can come and play on the cub simulator which hosts a large variety of planes and runs with real RC controls to prepare you for the real thing, with full model repair quickly accessible at the press of a button. When you're ready for the real thing, we can pair you up on the club trainer which has dual controls so that an instructor can instantly take the wheel. Learning with the tools we have available is fun and safe, and will save you a lot of time and money in broken planes and trips to the model shop.

Flying in the Tamaki area, the Tamaki Model Aircraft Club has been around for over 50 years. The club has fantastic facilities for all types of flyers, with an excellent and easily accessible flying field in a central city location and club rooms for getting together with other like minded folk to share your flying stories.

Come and see us at 38a Elstree Ave, Glen Innes on Friday nights. Club room opens at 7:30pm.
